Bay Area Estonian groups
New! Estonian-language playgroup
A new playgroup is forming that will meet monthly on Saturday afternoon for 2 hours. The focus will be language, singing and games, art projects, and letting children meet and play together. Age range is 2-7, but this is flexible and will depend on interest. The first meeting will be in October 2021. If you are interested in participating, please contact Kaidi Moore.
San Francisco Estonian Community Choir
The San Francisco Estonian Community Choir formed in 2017 with the goal of participating in the Laulupidu, and is proud to have achieved that aim during the summer of 2019.
The choir is now setting its sights on goals closer to home, and welcomes new singers. Laulame koos! For more information, visit sfkoor.org.
San Francisco Senior Klubi
The San Francisco Seniors' Club meets on the first Thursday of each month, alternating between locations in San Mateo and Berkeley. Visitors are welcome. For more information, contact Helgi.
Keelering
The Keelering meets two Sundays a month to study and practice the Estonian language. Many participants are native speakers, and others are learning Estonian for the first time. For more information about the group and how to join, contact us.
